Advantages

Breathable

The construction of the upper and the fabrics used make the whole thing breathable. Good airflow allows excess moisture to escape to the outside, keeping your feet dry.

Adhesive

The grip on the ground is thanks to the specially developed tread and the durable material used for the outsole. You can be sure that every step will be stable.

Good foot hold

Unexpected injuries can occur when trekking quickly over a variety of surfaces. In this shoe model, care has been taken to ensure that the foot is properly held in the shoe to minimise the risk of accidents.

Anti-slip

To ensure a good level of safety in varying weather conditions and on different types of surface, a special plastic compound was used for the outsole. As a result, the shoes are slip-resistant and you can step with confidence.

Partial lagging

The upper has been reinforced with durable material in the heel and toe area. This solution increases the mechanical resistance of the shoe, protects the toe against the effects of impact with stones and the heel in contact with the ground during sudden changes of direction.

Durable material

When trekking, especially in difficult terrain, trekking boots are prone to damage. Durable and strong fabrics have been used for this model to minimise the risk of damage to the boots and extend their life.

Waterproof

This model features good water resistance, so you don[t have to worry about a sudden cloudburst on the trail. Appropriate fabrics have been used and technologies have been applied to block water from entering the boots.

EVA

Ethylene Vinyl Acetate, which is a foam-like material used in, among other things, sports shoes and many items of clothing and sports equipment. It provides an optimum balance between flexibility and durability.

Kevlar®

Aramid fibre material invented by American chemist of Polish origin Stephanie Kwolek, used in the production of, among other things: hiking and climbing clothing. It is characterised by lightness, stiffness, high impact and crack resistance and high temperatures. It is approx. It is about 5 times more impact-resistant than carbon fibre and does not conduct electricity (it is an insulator).

Powertex

A waterproof membrane that effectively keeps out water and snow, and offers a basic level of breathability, sufficient to ensure comfort for less intense activities.

Pomoca®

A trekking boot sole characterised by good durability and high grip on difficult terrain. The special tread layout helps to roll the foot during technical approaches.

Cleansport NXT®

A technology that uses the natural process of breaking down sweat by beneficial micro-organisms. Sweat is broken down into carbon dioxide and water, providing odour control. This technology can be applied to both natural and synthetic fibres.

POMOCA® S Path

POMOCA® brand sole designed for wet, slippery ground. It is less rigid than other sole versions and has excellent grip. The tread profile of the sole supports the natural movements of the foot.

MFF+

MFF+ technology is an innovative insole which, thanks to the use of two interchangeable layers, enables a more individualised fit to the foot which increases comfort.

3F System

A special Salewa-branded construction that connects the shoe's instep to the sole and heel via a steel cable or strong webbing. Provides foot support and stability to the shoe on the trail.
