Powerslide

Powerslide is a brand that has been helping people discover their passion for skating since 1994. Founded by former speed skater Matthias Knoll and his business partner Stefan Göhl, Powerslide initially operated as a distributor, offering a wide range of skates and products from already established brands. By the 1990s, when high interest in inline skates could be seen, Powerslide was distributing more than 50 brands.
In 1997, faced with less interest in skates and the withdrawal of many brands from the market, Matthias Knoll decided to radically change Powerslide's business strategy. Instead of relying on third-party products, Powerslide began developing and designing its own innovative products and brands, focusing on four key pillars: innovation, quality, performance and design. That same year, Powerslide's first original brand , Upsidedown, was born, and it remains a groundbreaking skate brand today, developing some of the world's most innovative skate models.

Powerslide continues to evolve, developing a family of renowned brands offering the highest quality and most innovative inline skates, wheels, bearings, protective gear and all other products needed for skating. The company supports more than 100 of the world's top skaters who test Powerslide products, providing valuable feedback and providing customers with quality equipment to skate faster, jump higher, push the limits and enjoy the ride.
