The Quiksilver brand was founded in 1969 in Australia by Jeff Hakman. The company specializes in the production of surfing equipment and apparel. Quiksilver's first breakthrough product was boardshorts, which are innovative surf shorts. It was these that brought the brand to fame. Shortly thereafter, the company also introduced specialized clothing, footwear and surfboards.

As it grew, the Quiksilver brand continued to expand, and in the meantime it also introduced accessories and clothing for other board sports - skateboarding and snowboarding. The company became famous for its collaboration with professional skateboarder Tony Hawk.

Quiksilver is also a brand that is familiar with environmental issues. They make their products with the utmost care, using biodegradable materials and eco-friendly paints, which are also characterized by high durability. In addition, the brand packs all products in bags made of ecological materials and distributes them to stores in this form, so they do not contribute to excessive waste production.
