Shimano Stradic FL spinning reel silver ST2500FL (ST2500FL)

Stradic FL is the most recognizable Shimano reel. It is primarily characterized by power and reliability. Thanks to key components forged from a single piece of metal, we can experience the best of Hagane technology. The cold-forged gear is responsible for the longer lifespan of this model and is resistant to greater overloads.

The reel is equipped with a X-Ship drive, made with Silent Drive technology, which has been stabilized on both sides with additional bearings. It allows for maximum power during winding under heavy load while limiting noise emission. This drive system is supported by MicroModule II gear teeth, allowing for a very smooth operation.

The Hagane body of this reel is made of cold-forged aluminum. Thanks to this, it is lightweight and extremely durable, which translates into better lure feel. Additionally, the body has been sealed with X-Protect technology, which protects it from water ingress. 

The smooth operation of this model is supported by 6 high-quality Japanese S A-RB bearings. They are sealed on both sides and protected against corrosion. Additionally, the reel is equipped with one anti-reverse bearing, which ensures a backspin lock.

The reel features a special Long Stroke spool, characterized by a raised profile, which allows for long and precise casts. Aero Wrap technology is a cross-winding line technology that prevents line tangling.

The feeling of solidity of this model is given by the one-piece bail and cold-forged handle.
