This is my second
I bought these boots probably 2 years ago, they have been used extensively in the mountains, valleys, garden and city. They are mega comfortable, have great grip in the dry and wet. During gardening they tore at my little toes, but the sole was still in pretty good condition. Luckily the model is still in production so I have now bought the same ones, hopefully they will last at least as long!

I love the merrel shoes!
I really like the merrel brand! For my 44 feet, the 44.5 is perfect! Very comfortable, very nice shoe and the vibram sole will hopefully do the job on harder terrain! I'm going to give it 5 stars even though I haven't hiked in the shoes yet, I've only walked in them a little at home!

Generous cushioning, but not too soft; good ventilation, should dry fairly quickly when wet; snug, pleasant fit in the middle part, including due to the side tongue holders, even with untied laces; there is a holder for tied laces on the tongue - a trifle convenient; in the front part there is enough space both in width and height; there is a plate against sharp stones in the midsole; the foot does not tend to turn up due to the torsional stability of the sneakers, the back holds the shape and the foot well, soft; Vibram tread, the tread protrusions are well spaced (self-cleaning from dirt); lightweight (685 grams per pair in EU44 size). On a relatively wide foot 27.2 cm long, they fit perfectly (there is a margin for thick hiking socks). As for me, they are beautiful and look reliable.
