    Hybrid Construction and High-Strength Materials

    The model's construction is based on a combination of an ABS synthetic polymer shell and polycarbonate, supported by an internal layer of EPS polystyrene, resulting in effective energy absorption during impacts. The use of In-Mold technology and Holo Core further enhances the helmet's structural integrity while keeping the weight low. The ergonomic shape assists in achieving a precise fit to the user's head shape.

    The Atomic Revent GT Amid Visor HD helmet is equipped with the AMID cushioning system, which minimizes impact effects thanks to flexible absorbing inserts.     Advantages

    Impact protection
    Skiing is classified as a high-risk sport, which means that the greatest possible protection is required during skiing. The helmet offers impact protection, which increases the user[s safety on the slopes.
    Fidlock fastener
    The chin strap uses a Fidlock type fastener. This is a simple fastener that operates using magnets. Its operation is quick and easy, even with thick ski gloves. It is both strong and durable.
    Active ventilation
    The active ventilation system allows the airflow to be individually controlled to suit current needs. Thanks to this solution, excess warm air and moisture will be vented to the outside, without being exposed to excessive cooling.
    Ergonomic design
    The ergonomic shape ensures a high level of comfort when skiing. This helmet design allows undisturbed airflow, which also improves ventilation inside the shell.
    Hybrid design
    The hybrid construction combines the advantages of in mould construction and hardshell construction. Part of the helmet has a hard shell and the rest is covered with lighter foam, making the helmet weigh less.
    EN 1077 certification
    This is a European safety certificate which certifies that the helmet has passed crash and point tests. The first part of the test determines the maximum force that can act on the helmet during a collision, checking absorption through deformation, while the second tests the strength of the shell during point impacts, such as with a ski pole.
    Soft ear muffs
    Soft ear muffs are a different helmet design with ear muffs that are not overlapped by the helmet shell. They are extremely soft and protect the ears from the cold without interfering with sound reception. They do not, however, provide protection against injuries that may occur in the event of an accident.
    Integrated viewfinder
    The construction with an integrated visor guarantees a well-fitting visor to the shape of the helmet. In addition, the lens has a much larger surface area than that used in goggles, which increases the field of vision and, thanks to the large space between the visor and the face, corrective goggles can be worn without difficulty.
    Adjustment of size by means of a dial
    A classic adjustment system that allows the helmet to be precisely adjusted to the circumference of the head. Using the rotary knob, the helmet can be easily and quickly increased or decreased in several sizes. The correct fit of the helmet increases safety when riding.
    ASTM F2040 certification
    This is an American safety standard, more stringent than the European CE 1077 ECC standard. The test involves dropping the helmet on three types of impact anvils at different speeds. However, point tests and chin strap tests are omitted. A helmet with this certification ensures safety during a crash.

    Hydrophobic Lens Coating

    Safety system for Atomic brand helmets. Uses dual-density foam for increased impact protection.
    3M™ X-Static
    Merino wool liner used in Atomic helmets. It features excellent thermoregulatory properties as well as anti-odor and anti-bacterial properties.
    HD Lens Technology
    Technology incorporated into the windshield of Atomic helmets. It provides high-resolution vision on the snow, thereby increasing the wearer's comfort and safety. Good visibility is maintained regardless of the lighting conditions.
    In-Mould
    In-mold is a manufacturing method in which the outer shell of the helmet is permanently bonded to a layer of inner protective foam during moulding. This makes the helmet lighter, more durable and better absorbs impacts. The process also provides an aesthetically pleasing finish and increased structural durability.
