    Women's trekking shoes Salewa MTN Trainer 2 Mid GTX are a lightweight model that will perform well during mountain hikes both on steep terrain and on flat rocky sections. This model is equipped with a breathable GORE-TEX® Performance membrane to effectively protect the feet during more intense exertion in less favorable mountain conditions and regardless of the season. 

    The upper is made of durable and soft suede leather with a napped finish produced in Italy using environmentally friendly methods. Additionally, the shoes feature a full protective rubber rand. 

    The midsole made of two types of polyurethane foam with different densities provides a combination of cushioning and stiffness, ensuring all-day comfort for trekking shoes. Moreover, the self-cleaning Vibram® outsole guarantees grip even on wet surfaces.  

    The SALEWA 3F system precisely wraps the foot, stabilizing the ankle and heel without restricting freedom of movement.

    Climbing Lacing
    A special binding found in some models of mountain boots. In a system taken from climbing boots, the binding extends right to the top of the boot. This allows the shoe to be adjusted very precisely in difficult terrain.
    Cleansport NXT®
    A technology that uses the natural process of breaking down sweat by beneficial micro-organisms. Sweat is broken down into carbon dioxide and water, providing odour control. This technology can be applied to both natural and synthetic fibres.
    Flex Collar
    A curved, elastic cuff in the shoe that provides freedom to the rear ankle joint. This gives comfort and safety when descending steep terrain.
    GORE-TEX® Performance Comfort
    A versatile technology used in most trekking boots. It provides the boots with resistance to very adverse weather conditions. It is characterised by being waterproof, windproof and breathable.
    MFF+
    MFF+ technology is an innovative insole which, thanks to the use of two interchangeable layers, enables a more individualised fit to the foot which increases comfort.

      I didn't give an opinion before because I wanted to try the shoes out on the trails - I did. They are great, they hold the foot and ankle very well, they work well on various surfaces. Thermoregulation is sensational - probably the socks played a big role too, but I was wearing them in 30-degree heat and my foot didn't even sweat. Worth the price!!!!
