The 280-liter construction provides excellent glide, meaning every paddle stroke translates into efficient energy use. Although it performs best on flat water, experienced paddlers will easily handle choppy waves as well.

Vortex Air stands out among other racing boards thanks to its wide midsection, which provides stability in the front part of the board. The narrow rear section allows better water flow and less resistance, which is crucial both during sprints and long-distance races. The angled handle mounted at the front on the left side allows for quick grabbing of the board, ideal for Le Mans style starts and fast returns to shore. The specially designed, hard rail on the board’s stern increases water flow and reduces drag, giving a real performance advantage. An additional rear pad increases confidence when making sharp turns.

Vortex Air is made using Twine-X® - a double-layer PVC bonded into a thin single layer with 15,000 polyester threads/m², making the board lightweight yet durable. The set includes a bag, repair kit, carbon fiber fin, and a safety leash for the leg. The fin is made of carbon, weighs only 121 g, and is designed to be weed-free while providing lateral stability. The set also includes a spare fin screw and mounting plate. The 10-foot safety leash attaches to the board’s rear D-ring; the padded cuff can be fastened below the knee or around the ankle.

The bag measuring 48 x 80 x 30 cm is made of durable materials, equipped with wheels, adjustable tension straps, click fasteners, padded shoulder straps, a hip belt, and an internal pocket. A wide opening with a two-way zipper makes packing the board and accessories easy. The double-action SUP hand pump allows for quick inflation, and the pressure gauge shows the internal pressure.

The repair kit includes a tool for tightening (or replacing) the valve, PVC patches, and contact adhesive for basic repairs, an extra paddle screw, and a fin screw and plate. A QR code leads to repair guides.
