Men's running shoes HOKA Challenger ATR 6 GTX fiesta/sharkskin (1116876)

Men's running shoes HOKA Challenger ATR 6 GTX are footwear designed for runners seeking neutral cushioning and durable protection against adverse weather conditions. The use of GORE-TEX® technology ensures waterproofing, making them an ideal choice for those running in the rain or on wet surfaces. The Repreve™ technology used in the shoe's construction supports the environment by using recycled material. The Challenger ATR 6 GTX features a standard width upper, allowing for a comfortable fit for most users.

Advanced sole construction

The shoes have an outsole made of a combination of rubber and EVA, offering exceptional durability and grip on various types of surfaces. The CMEVA midsole provides additional cushioning support, reducing shocks and foot fatigue during longer runs. A 5 mm drop allows for a natural foot position, thereby enhancing stride efficiency.

Functionality and comfort

The design of the HOKA Challenger ATR 6 GTX includes additional reinforcements in the toe area, increasing protection against injuries and improving the shoe's durability. The use of a traditional lacing system allows for precise fit and foot stabilization during activity. Waterproofing guaranteed by GORE-TEX® goes hand in hand with the high breathability of the materials, ensuring comfort in varied weather conditions.

Advanced technologies and lightness

The Challenger ATR 6 GTX model, weighing only 309 g, offers lightness and comfort while maintaining all necessary technical features. The latest technologies, such as the use of Repreve™ technology, support not only user comfort but also the environment by utilizing recycled materials. In addition to waterproofing, the shoes offer high air permeability, which prevents excessive foot sweating.

Individual fit

The shoe width, classified as standard, makes the HOKA Challenger ATR 6 GTX perfectly fit most foot shapes. The use of a classic lacing system allows for precise adjustment to each user, providing stability during running. Thanks to these solutions, this model is an excellent support for both professional runners and amateurs.

Advantages

Adhesion
The sole construction used is distinguished by its high traction coefficient, which allows stable stepping when running in adverse weather conditions or over difficult terrain.
Depreciation
The sole material provides excellent cushioning and high energy return to make your run comfortable and safe, no matter what terrain you[re on.
Lightness
The designed construction of the sole and upper and the use of suitable materials ensures lightness without losing the necessary comfort during frequent, intensive use.
Anti-slip
The sole of the shoe is non-slip, which will ensure safety and make it easier to move on slippery surfaces. This will allow you to train even in adverse weather conditions.
Stabilisation
The shoes are designed with a particular focus on safety, so they provide exceptional stability to prevent injuries and trauma and protect the feet during intense training sessions.
Neutral foot
The shoes are designed for people with neutral feet, who do not require additional support or elements to correct rolling, as this type of foot distributes weight evenly.
Waterproof
The boots are designed to protect against adverse weather conditions. The materials used have waterproof properties, preventing water from entering, leaving the inside of the boot dry and comfortable.
GORE-TEX®
A fabric used in sports clothing, shoes and accessories. Provides high levels of waterproofing, wind protection and ventilation.
Repreve™
An innovative technology that uses polyester fibres sourced from recycled plastic bottles. This ensures that all products come from 100% recycled materials.

    Very comfortable!

Perfect for running in the transitional season. Gtx works flawlessly, foot stays dry. Very good fit to the foot (I have a narrow foot).
Small minus for poor grip on stones, but for the forest they are perfect.

I don't even take them off at work

Great. I haven't run far yet because I bought them for a quick walk to work (about 2 km one way - but in these shoes I can easily increase ;) and for trails at the weekend in the woods near the house (I used to run more and lately it's just such intense interval exercises so I'm not a runner). A week of walking to work - comfort great. But be warned, you need to measure well, I'm writing up to size 46 because in the end I chose 46 and 2/3 and I normally wear 45. I also tried the HOKI SPEEDGOATS 4 and 5 in GTX. I had the impression that there was less room for the toes - well, I wanted to use them on pavement too and they were better challengers. I was also guided by the colour, they were supposed to be predominantly black so some of the shoes fell off - I also tested the addidas TRAILRIDER terrexes
GTX - but it's not the softness. Salomon trail shoes were even tighter and harder although the latest salomon thundercrosses were not bad but still more expensive , and these described challengers for around £420 are a great buy. So to sum up, if you are not an ultra trail runner, you can also buy these shoes - but necessarily after a fitting.

How to measure the length of your foot - instructions in 4 steps

    1. Prepare a sheet of paper and set it on a hard, non-slippery surface - it is best to tape it to the floor.

2 Stand barefoot on a piece of paper - distribute your body weight evenly and set your foot straight.

    3. Mark the tip of the big toe and the back of the heel - preferably holding the pencil vertically.

    4. Take off the foot and measure the distance between the marks - this is the length of the foot. Repeat for the other foot and choose a larger measurement, matching it to the size chart.
