    The Salomon Pioneer LT 4D ski helmet is a highly advanced product that combines innovative technologies with comfort to provide skiers with optimal protection and convenience. It presents a modern approach to safety and style on the slopes.

    An important element is EPS 4D technology. This is a patented solution by Salomon that focuses on maximizing shock energy absorption both laterally and vertically. Thanks to this, the helmet not only protects against potential injuries but also increases the sense of security while skiing.


    This helmet features active ventilation technology, allowing control of head temperature and airflow. This enables skiers to adjust the cooling level depending on weather conditions and personal preferences, ensuring comfort in any situation.

    Salomon also introduced MaxFit Construction, which are completely redesigned V-shaped ear pads. They are designed to provide instant fit and comfort. This solution allows not only easy putting on and taking off of the helmet but also ensures an excellent fit to the user's head shape.

    Safety standards are crucial, which is why the helmet meets CE-EN1077/ASTM F-2040 standards, confirming its high quality and reliability. Additionally, the chin strap finish has been designed to provide comfort and avoid skin irritation.

    Impact protection
    Skiing is classified as a high-risk sport, which means that the greatest possible protection is required during skiing. The helmet offers impact protection, which increases the user[s safety on the slopes.
    Active ventilation
    The active ventilation system allows the airflow to be individually controlled to suit current needs. Thanks to this solution, excess warm air and moisture will be vented to the outside, without being exposed to excessive cooling.
    Ergonomic design
    The ergonomic shape ensures a high level of comfort when skiing. This helmet design allows undisturbed airflow, which also improves ventilation inside the shell.
    EN 1077 certification
    This is a European safety certificate which certifies that the helmet has passed crash and point tests. The first part of the test determines the maximum force that can act on the helmet during a collision, checking absorption through deformation, while the second tests the strength of the shell during point impacts, such as with a ski pole.
    Buckle fastening
    The chin strap uses a classic buckle fastening. It is easy to use, but fastening and unfastening it can be problematic with winter gloves. It will work well with helmets designed for slightly older children.
    Soft ear muffs
    Soft ear muffs are a different helmet design with ear muffs that are not overlapped by the helmet shell. They are extremely soft and protect the ears from the cold without interfering with sound reception. They do not, however, provide protection against injuries that may occur in the event of an accident.
    EPS inner shell
    Under the outer, impact-resistant shell, there is an inner layer made of polystyrene. It has a varying density and its main function is to absorb the force of impact during an accident. It provides a good level of safety.
    In-mould construction
    This construction mainly combines different types of in mould foam of different hardnesses. These layers are closely linked to the outer layer of material, which is much harder. This construction makes the helmet extremely lightweight.
    Adjustment of size by means of a dial
    A classic adjustment system that allows the helmet to be precisely adjusted to the circumference of the head. Using the rotary knob, the helmet can be easily and quickly increased or decreased in several sizes. The correct fit of the helmet increases safety when riding.
    ASTM F2040 certification
    This is an American safety standard, more stringent than the European CE 1077 ECC standard. The test involves dropping the helmet on three types of impact anvils at different speeds. However, point tests and chin strap tests are omitted. A helmet with this certification ensures safety during a crash.

    In-Mould
    In-mold is a manufacturing method in which the outer shell of the helmet is permanently bonded to a layer of inner protective foam during moulding.
