I purchased the shoes recently, from the courier straight into the car and on the mountain. I put them on and off I went without any initial stomping. I spent 4 days in the mountains without any problem, no lice or any other discomfort when wearing.
The last day it rained and rained, feet stayed dry, I also went through snow - no slipping, shoes were firm. I highly recommend this model.
