This model features a new tongue construction with a Lay Flat gusset that prevents chafing, and the extended heel not only makes it easier to put on but also protects the Achilles tendon. Thanks to the ample space for swollen toes, this model is ideal for long and demanding trail runs. 

The shoes perform well in mountainous, demanding terrain thanks to the use of an outsole made of high-quality Vibram Megagrip rubber compound. It is characterized by high abrasion resistance and offers a secure step even on slippery surfaces. Its flexible construction ensures safety during more difficult descents. 

The upper of the shoes is made of breathable mesh, fabric, and synthetic material, providing high comfort and breathability. Thanks to these materials, the foot is protected from overheating and excessive sweating, which translates into comfort during long training sessions or hikes. Some of the materials come from recycling. 

The midsole of the Speedgoat 5 shoes is made of CMEVA foam, which provides excellent cushioning and protects the foot from shocks during training on uneven surfaces. This reduces the risk of injuries and gives you more power on the trail. Under the foot, there is an EVA foam insole, which is lightweight and durable. This adds extra comfort during the run.
