Clarity lenses with Ri-Pel™ and Anti-Fog coatings

The Clarity lens used in the POC Nexal model features Ri-Pel™ technology, which effectively protects against water, oils, and dirt thanks to a special hydrophobic coating. Additionally, the Anti-Fog coating reduces fogging, ensuring uninterrupted visibility even during intense exertion. The package includes two lenses – category S2 for moderate sunlight and S1 for days with limited visibility.

Safety and UV-400 protection

The POC Nexal model is equipped with a UV-400 filter that effectively blocks harmful solar radiation, protecting eyesight from the adverse effects of UVA and UVB rays. The additional eye protection and advanced optical solutions ensure that the goggles meet the expectations of even the most demanding skiers. Advantages

UV protection 400

The UV 400 filter used in the glazing is guaranteed to protect the eyes from harmful ultraviolet radiation. It blocks 99.9% of wavelengths up to 400 nanometres, both UVA, UVB and UVC. The use of goggles with UV protection is a cornerstone that can prevent serious health problems.

Glazing category S1

An S1-rated windscreen works well when riding on cloudy and foggy days, as well as at night on the slopes with artificial lighting. Absorbing between 20 and 57% of light, they are clear and usually slightly tinted.

Glazing category S2

The lens with the S2 category is the most versatile. It will work well on a slightly cloudy day as well as when the sun is not too strong. It absorbs between 57 and 82% of light and has a slightly darkened surface.

Hydrophobic coating

The lens has been coated with a special coating so that drops hitting the lens surface do not smear, but drip off. This does not impair visual acuity in difficult conditions. The lens itself is thus easy to keep clean, as the coating repels water and grease, and fingerprints rub off very easily.

Glass included

Depending on the conditions on the slopes, it is sometimes required to change to a different windshield that is better suited to the lighting parameters. The additional interchangeable windshield included with the goggles gives you more options and allows you to quickly customise the goggles.

Anti-Fog coating

Temperature fluctuations can cause unwanted fogging on the inside of the lens. To prevent this effect from occurring, the lens is treated with a special coating that prevents fogging. This increases safety and comfort when on the slopes.

An anti-fog coating that is applied, among other things, to the surface of specialised spectacle lenses. The Anti-fog coating retains its properties regardless of weather conditions, even when in contact with water. As a result, it contributes to maintaining undisturbed visual acuity, which increases the comfort and safety of the wearer.
