Advanced InMould Construction

The UVEX Viti Jr features InMould construction, where the outer shell is permanently bonded to the impact-absorbing layer, significantly increasing the helmet's resistance to forces during an accident. This technology allows for a lightweight design while maintaining a high level of safety. Additional protection is provided by Soft ear pads, which enhance wearing comfort and protect the ears from the cold.

Adjustment Systems and Monomatic Closure

The helmet's precise fit is ensured by the FAS and IAS fit systems, which allow easy size adjustment using a dial and straps, ensuring that the UVEX Viti Jr perfectly conforms to the child's head throughout the day on the slopes. Impact protection

Skiing is classified as a high-risk sport, which means that the greatest possible protection is required during skiing. The helmet offers impact protection, which increases the user[s safety on the slopes.

Passive ventilation

Permanently integrated into the helmet, the ventilation channels let fresh air in through the openings at the front and let excess heat and moisture out through the rear openings. Thanks to this solution, the goggles do not evaporate and the head is kept comfortable during activity.

EN 1077 certification

This is a European safety certificate which certifies that the helmet has passed crash and point tests. The first part of the test determines the maximum force that can act on the helmet during a collision, checking absorption through deformation, while the second tests the strength of the shell during point impacts, such as with a ski pole.

Soft ear muffs

Soft ear muffs are a different helmet design with ear muffs that are not overlapped by the helmet shell. They are extremely soft and protect the ears from the cold without interfering with sound reception. They do not, however, provide protection against injuries that may occur in the event of an accident.

Monomatic fastening

The chin strap uses a Monomatic type closure. This is a very precise locking system that allows multi-stage adjustment. Operating this fastener with ski gloves is not a problem, and the system itself does not allow spontaneous release.

In-mould construction

This construction mainly combines different types of in mould foam of different hardnesses. These layers are closely linked to the outer layer of material, which is much harder. This construction makes the helmet extremely lightweight.

Adjustment of size by means of a dial

A classic adjustment system that allows the helmet to be precisely adjusted to the circumference of the head. Using the rotary knob, the helmet can be easily and quickly increased or decreased in several sizes. The correct fit of the helmet increases safety when riding.

Fas Adapting System - The strap system responsible for the precise fit of the UVEX helmet. It ensures that the helmet adapts well to the different head shapes and holds firmly in any situation. It thus increases safety and comfort.

IAS

The IAS system allows adjustment of both the circumference of the helmet and the depth of the helmet on the head.

inmould

The EPS protective material is directly moulded into the polycarbonate shell, which is reflected in a lightweight helmet with maximum impact resistance. This is a perfect integration of the outer polycarbonate shell with the inner EPS material.
