InMould Construction and Safety Systems

The UVEX Viti Jr features InMould technology, which integrates the outer shell with an absorbing layer, enhancing the helmet's resistance to impact. The IAS fit adjustment system allows for quick and precise size adjustments using a dial, while the FAS straps keep the helmet stable even during vigorous movement. Impact protection

Skiing is classified as a high-risk sport, which means that the greatest possible protection is required during skiing. The helmet offers impact protection, which increases the user[s safety on the slopes.

Passive ventilation

Permanently integrated into the helmet, the ventilation channels let fresh air in through the openings at the front and let excess heat and moisture out through the rear openings. Thanks to this solution, the goggles do not evaporate and the head is kept comfortable during activity.

EN 1077 certification

This is a European safety certificate which certifies that the helmet has passed crash and point tests. The first part of the test determines the maximum force that can act on the helmet during a collision, checking absorption through deformation, while the second tests the strength of the shell during point impacts, such as with a ski pole.

Soft ear muffs

Soft ear muffs are a different helmet design with ear muffs that are not overlapped by the helmet shell. inmould

The EPS protective material is directly moulded into the polycarbonate shell, which is reflected in a lightweight helmet with maximum impact resistance. This is a perfect integration of the outer polycarbonate shell with the inner EPS material.
