      Very durable material. Apparently merino is not durable, but I've had this model for over a year and it doesn't particularly show signs of use and is used mega hard. In summer in the mountains and in winter for work. As if that wasn't enough, it now runs with me as a beanie. I really appreciate it. Nothing has stretched. Breathes great. It dries quickly. It is breathable. Very flexible. The downsides are hard to find. Highly recommended.
