Not a shoe for beginners- little cushioning and zero drop. If you have a wide foot, run off-road a lot and are looking for a lightweight mud shoe this is a hit. A big plus for the velcro to stabilise the laces.

Very good sole with Vibram Megagrip rubber, proven on wet rocks as well as in mud. Lightweight, comfortable shoes. When buying, it should be noted that the cushioning is low, but the feel of the terrain under the sole is very good. Excellent idea with the velcro, so that there is no chance of the laces untying during a long run. Highly recommended!

The shoes have excellent craftsmanship and a great sole. Unfortunately, like other Altra models, they are very narrow over the arch. I had to remove the insole to be able to wear them.
