Frame and Geometry

The lightweight and durable 6061 aluminium frame is available in two sizes: 17" for users measuring 155-170 cm in height and 19" for riders measuring 170-185 cm. The well-thought-out geometry with a 70° head angle provides stable handling and confident riding even at higher speeds. The well-balanced design makes the bike manoeuvrable yet comfortable both on long distances and during dynamic riding over rough terrain.

Ashortened fork 

The use of an SR Suntour SF20 NEX fork with 63 mm travel helps to effectively dampen uneven terrain, increasing comfort on varied surfaces. Thanks to the PCS (Piston Compensator System) technology, the fork improves grip and control of the bike, which is particularly important on gravel roads and forest trails. The vibration damping and stability of the front wheel make for a smoother ride, giving the rider full control even on challenging sections.

Ergonomic handlebars

The bike features a 640mm wide aluminium handlebar with 6° backsweep for comfortable hand positioning and precise steering. Thanks to its ergonomic shape, the handlebars make it easier to maintain a stable position and reduce arm fatigue, which is crucial on longer rides.

Shimano CUES drivetrain

The SANO 4.0 is equipped with a state-of-the-art Shimano CUES drivetrain, which combines durability with precision performance. The 9-speed drivetrain allows you to flexibly adapt the gear ratios to the current off-road conditions, ensuring optimum riding speed on both flat sections and demanding climbs. The Shimano CUES SL-U4000 shifter uses RAPIDFIRE PLUS technology, allowing you to instantly change gears by up to several gears simultaneously. This solution is extremely useful during dynamic terrain changes and sudden acceleration.

Shimano CUES CS-LG300 

The key component of the drivetrain is the Shimano CUES CS-LG300 cassette, which offers a wide range of gear ratios, allowing you to easily adapt your pedalling power to the current riding conditions. With a 11-46T gradation, the cassette allows you to comfortably tackle even steep climbs, while also enabling you to develop higher speeds on the flat.

The LINKGLIDE technology used in the cassette significantly increases its durability and wear resistance compared to traditional HyperGlide cassettes, making the entire drivetrain run smoother and require less frequent maintenance.
