Women's downhill ski Blizzard Phoenix R13 TI + bindings TP11 Light W purple (8A4220CB001)

Blizzard Phoenix R13 TI Women's Downhill Skis + TP11 Light W Bindings are designed for intermediate and advanced skiers. Thanks to the Sandwich Compound Partial Sidewall construction, these skis provide the perfect balance between stability and flexibility. The dimensions of 119/72/101 mm, combined with a turning radius of 13 m, allow for precise and dynamic turns, which is essential when skiing on groomed slopes.

Construction and Technology

The skis are equipped with a Trueblend Piste Woodcore, which allows for better feel and control on the slopes. Additionally, the tip rocker facilitates easy turn initiation, which is especially beneficial for skiers navigating various snow conditions. The FDT HP Short Plate used in the ski construction enhances energy transfer smoothness, resulting in more efficient skiing.

Bindings and DIN Scale

The skis come with TP 11 LIGHT DEMO W bindings, which have a DIN range from 3 to 11, allowing for individual adjustment according to the skier's preferences. The use of a lightweight design in the bindings reduces the overall weight of the skis, which is particularly important during long days on the slopes. The total weight of one ski is 1450 g, contributing to greater comfort during use.

Purpose

The Blizzard Phoenix R13 TI skis are mainly intended for on-piste skiing, and their advanced construction and precise shaping make them perfect for intensive use by intermediate and advanced skiers.

Summary

The Blizzard Phoenix R13 TI is an ideal choice for female skiers looking for equipment that combines advanced technology with excellent performance on the slopes. The technologies used and precise construction provide optimal conditions for skill development and full enjoyment of skiing.

Trueblend Piste Woodcore
A special combination of different types of wood in one core. Wood strips of different densities are made from three different types of wood. Zones of different densities provide precise flex control. TrueBlend Piste Woodcore is designed with a stiffer central flex zone. For stability and edge grip, medium flex zones have been placed in the front and back and a softer flex zone in the tip and heel for better control. For easier exits out of turns. Trueblend technology allows for precise flex control along the entire length of the ski.

Sizes table

Once you have determined your recommended ski size range, now you need to decide if you prefer a longer ski or a shorter ski. In general shorter skis will be easier to maneuver while longer skis will be more stable. Narrower carving skis with smaller turn radiuses and full camber can be skied shorter, while wider all mountain and freeski skis with more rocker can be skied longer. Rockered skis have a shorter contact length with the snow which makes it easier to pivot and steer, however we recommend sizing up skis with a lot of rocker in order to maintain stability.

Below are several reasons to help you make this decision.

GO SHORTER, CLOSER TO YOUR CHIN IF:

    1. You are a beginner-intermediate level skier,

    2. You prefer making shorter/quicker turns,

    3. You are looking for a carving ski.

GO LONGER, CLOSER TO THE TOP OF YOUR HEAD IF:

    1. You are an advanced-expert level skier,

    2. You like skiing fast and making longer turns,

    3. You mostly ski off trial,

    4. You are looking at a ski with a lot of rocker.
