    The UVEX Stance MIPS skiing helmet in oxid green/black matte provides an advanced level of protection and comfort while skiing all mountain. The robust Hard Shell construction combined with Mips® technology and an internal shell made of polystyrene (EPS) effectively minimizes the effects of impacts and enhances user safety.

    Mips® protection technology and Hard Shell shell

    The UVEX Stance MIPS model features Mips® technology, which protects the head from rotational forces during falls while supporting the classic Hard Shell construction. The durable outer shell combined with the polystyrene (EPS) shell guarantees a high level of impact energy absorption. The helmet meets the requirements of the European standard EN 1077:2007 B, confirming the effectiveness of its protection.

    Adjustment systems and comfort features

    The helmet is equipped with the IAS fit adjustment system, which allows for precise fitting to the head circumference, increasing stability during dynamic riding. The Monomatic buckle allows for easy and secure fastening of the helmet even while wearing gloves, and the removable padding and Soft ear pads enhance user comfort.     Advantages

    Impact protection
    Skiing is classified as a high-risk sport, which means that the greatest possible protection is required during skiing. The helmet offers impact protection, which increases the user[s safety on the slopes.
    Hardshell construction
    The construction combines two layers. One In mould layer with a much harder and thicker outer shell layer. These layers are not closely interconnected and the helmet itself is nevertheless characterised by a higher weight thanks to this construction.
    Active ventilation
    The active ventilation system allows the airflow to be individually controlled to suit current needs. Thanks to this solution, excess warm air and moisture will be vented to the outside, without being exposed to excessive cooling.
    EN 1077 certification
    This is a European safety certificate which certifies that the helmet has passed crash and point tests. The first part of the test determines the maximum force that can act on the helmet during a collision, checking absorption through deformation, while the second tests the strength of the shell during point impacts, such as with a ski pole.
    Soft ear muffs
    Soft ear muffs are a different helmet design with ear muffs that are not overlapped by the helmet shell. They are extremely soft and protect the ears from the cold without interfering with sound reception. They do not, however, provide protection against injuries that may occur in the event of an accident.
    EPS inner shell
    Under the outer, impact-resistant shell, there is an inner layer made of polystyrene. It has a varying density and its main function is to absorb the force of impact during an accident. It provides a good level of safety.
    Monomatic fastening
    The chin strap uses a Monomatic type closure. This is a very precise locking system that allows multi-stage adjustment. Operating this fastener with ski gloves is not a problem, and the system itself does not allow spontaneous release.

    Fas Adapting System - The strap system responsible for the precise fit of the UVEX helmet. It ensures that the helmet adapts well to the different head shapes and holds firmly in any situation. It thus increases safety and comfort.
    MIPS®
    Multidirectional Impact Protection System - A common impact protection system used in helmets. Its purpose is to protect against the rotational movement that occurs during a severe impact. MIPS absorbs the first shock, minimising the risk of brain damage.
    Hardshell
    Special helmet shell moulding technology applied to EPS foam. Guarantees high resistance to external impacts and absorbs shocks.
    IAS
    The IAS system allows adjustment of both the circumference of the helmet and the depth of the helmet on the head.
