The UVEX Stance MIPS white matt ski helmet is designed for intensive use.

Protective Technologies and Hard Shell Construction

The UVEX Stance MIPS features a durable outer shell made from expanded polystyrene (EPS) and a Hard Shell construction that combines a rigid outer layer with a cushioning inner layer. The Mips® technology provides additional brain protection during rotational impacts, enhancing the user's safety. The helmet meets the EN 1077:2007 B standard, confirming its high protective effectiveness in skiing conditions.

Adjustment Systems and User Comfort

The IAS fit adjustment system allows for precise fitting of the helmet to the shape of the head, ensuring stability during intense descents. The Soft ear pads provide thermal comfort even in difficult weather conditions without limiting sound perception. The Monomatic closure allows for quick and safe one-handed putting on and taking off of the helmet.

Advantages

Impact protection

Skiing is classified as a high-risk sport, which means that the greatest possible protection is required during skiing. The helmet offers impact protection, which increases the user[s safety on the slopes.

Hardshell construction

The construction combines two layers. One In mould layer with a much harder and thicker outer shell layer. These layers are not closely interconnected and the helmet itself is nevertheless characterised by a higher weight thanks to this construction.

Active ventilation

The active ventilation system allows the airflow to be individually controlled to suit current needs. Thanks to this solution, excess warm air and moisture will be vented to the outside, without being exposed to excessive cooling.

EN 1077 certification

This is a European safety certificate which certifies that the helmet has passed crash and point tests. The first part of the test determines the maximum force that can act on the helmet during a collision, checking absorption through deformation, while the second tests the strength of the shell during point impacts, such as with a ski pole.

Soft ear muffs

Soft ear muffs are a different helmet design with ear muffs that are not overlapped by the helmet shell. They are extremely soft and protect the ears from the cold without interfering with sound reception. They do not, however, provide protection against injuries that may occur in the event of an accident.

EPS inner shell

Under the outer, impact-resistant shell, there is an inner layer made of polystyrene. It has a varying density and its main function is to absorb the force of impact during an accident. It provides a good level of safety.

Monomatic fastening

The chin strap uses a Monomatic type closure. This is a very precise locking system that allows multi-stage adjustment. Operating this fastener with ski gloves is not a problem, and the system itself does not allow spontaneous release.

Fas Adapting System - The strap system responsible for the precise fit of the UVEX helmet. It ensures that the helmet adapts well to the different head shapes and holds firmly in any situation. It thus increases safety and comfort.

MIPS®

Multidirectional Impact Protection System - A common impact protection system used in helmets. Its purpose is to protect against the rotational movement that occurs during a severe impact. MIPS absorbs the first shock, minimising the risk of brain damage.

Hardshell

Special helmet shell moulding technology applied to EPS foam. Guarantees high resistance to external impacts and absorbs shocks.

IAS

The IAS system allows adjustment of both the circumference of the helmet and the depth of the helmet on the head.
