Alpina Nax Ski Helmet is a modern protective device developed using Hybrid technology. This design combines lightweight materials with durable coatings, providing excellent protection while skiing. The built-in Hybrid Tech technology and durable CERAMIC SHELL coating increase impact resistance, resulting in a higher level of user safety.

Closure and Adjustment

The Ergomatic buckle was designed with ease of use and reliability in mind. Thanks to the applied system, it prevents accidental opening while allowing easy adjustment, even when the user is wearing gloves. The adjustment mechanism operates via the Run System dial, enabling precise fitting of the helmet size to individual needs. An additional Y-Clip system allows for exact strap positioning, ensuring optimal hold and safety.

Ventilation and Comfort

PC shell

The active ventilation system allows the airflow to be individually controlled to suit current needs. Thanks to this solution, excess warm air and moisture will be vented to the outside, without being exposed to excessive cooling.

Hybrid design

The hybrid construction combines the advantages of in mould construction and hardshell construction. Part of the helmet has a hard shell and the rest is covered with lighter foam, making the helmet weigh less.

EN 1077 certification

This is a European safety certificate which certifies that the helmet has passed crash and point tests. The first part of the test determines the maximum force that can act on the helmet during a collision, checking absorption through deformation, while the second tests the strength of the shell during point impacts, such as with a ski pole.

Soft ear muffs

Soft ear muffs are a different helmet design with ear muffs that are not overlapped by the helmet shell. They are extremely soft and protect the ears from the cold without interfering with sound reception. They do not, however, provide protection against injuries that may occur in the event of an accident.

EPS inner shell

Under the outer, impact-resistant shell, there is an inner layer made of polystyrene. It has a varying density and its main function is to absorb the force of impact during an accident. It provides a good level of safety.
