Alpina Nax Ski Helmet is an advanced safety device built with Hybrid technology. This design combines lightweight materials and durable coatings to provide optimal protection while skiing. Integrated Hybrid Tech technology together with durable ceramic in the CERAMIC SHELL coating increases impact resistance, enhancing user safety.

Closure and Adjustment

The Ergomatic buckle is designed for ease of use and reliability. Thanks to the applied system, it prevents accidental opening while allowing easy adjustment, even when the user is wearing gloves. The adjustment mechanism is operated via the Run System dial, enabling precise fitting of the helmet size to individual needs. An additional Y-Clip system allows for exact strap positioning, ensuring optimal hold and safety.

PC shell

Hybrid design

The hybrid construction combines the advantages of in mould construction and hardshell construction. Part of the helmet has a hard shell and the rest is covered with lighter foam, making the helmet weigh less.

EN 1077 certification

This is a European safety certificate which certifies that the helmet has passed crash and point tests. The first part of the test determines the maximum force that can act on the helmet during a collision, checking absorption through deformation, while the second tests the strength of the shell during point impacts, such as with a ski pole.

Soft ear muffs

Soft ear muffs are a different helmet design with ear muffs that are not overlapped by the helmet shell. They are extremely soft and protect the ears from the cold without interfering with sound reception. They do not, however, provide protection against injuries that may occur in the event of an accident.

EPS inner shell
