Safety and In-Mold Construction

The shell of the Bollé Atmos Pure is made from durable polycarbonate, and the In-Mold construction ensures optimal protection against impacts while maintaining low weight and high durability. The applied AViD progressive EPS foam effectively disperses kinetic energy, increasing safety in the event of a collision. The buckle fastening makes it easy to quickly and securely adjust the helmet to fit the head.

Advantages

Impact protection

Skiing is classified as a high-risk sport, which means that the greatest possible protection is required during skiing. The helmet offers impact protection, which increases the user[s safety on the slopes.

PC shell

The shell is made of durable polycarbonate. It is a durable and abrasion- and impact-resistant material, characterised by its low weight. It is able to dissipate more impact force than thermoplastic and is relatively cheap to produce, resulting in a more attractive helmet price.

Passive ventilation

Permanently integrated into the helmet, the ventilation channels let fresh air in through the openings at the front and let excess heat and moisture out through the rear openings. Thanks to this solution, the goggles do not evaporate and the head is kept comfortable during activity.

Buckle fastening

The chin strap uses a classic buckle fastening. It is easy to use, but fastening and unfastening it can be problematic with winter gloves. It will work well with helmets designed for slightly older children.

Soft ear muffs

Soft ear muffs are a different helmet design with ear muffs that are not overlapped by the helmet shell. They are extremely soft and protect the ears from the cold without interfering with sound reception. They do not, however, provide protection against injuries that may occur in the event of an accident.

In-mould construction

This construction mainly combines different types of in mould foam of different hardnesses. These layers are closely linked to the outer layer of material, which is much harder. This construction makes the helmet extremely lightweight.

The Click-To-Fit™ system allows the helmet to be easily and quickly adjusted to the head. The rubberised knob allows the helmet to be tightened or loosened effortlessly, even when wearing gloves.

AVID Progressive EPS technology works in conjunction with the Mips brain protection system, combining channels for excellent ventilation with progressive shock absorption.
