The jacket features a 2.5-layer Proflex™ membrane that effectively protects against rain and wind while ensuring excellent breathability. The DWR hydrophobic coating supports rapid water runoff from the fabric surface, resulting in increased dryness during rainfall. Additionally, all zips on the Rab Downpour Light are from the renowned YKK® brand and are AquaGuard® versions, offering enhanced resistance to moisture penetration.

The jacket is made from 100% polyamide, a durable and robust material, and is free from harmful PFC compounds. The 2.5-layer construction means a durable bond between the outer fabric and membrane, combined with a sprayed reinforcement that replaces a traditional lining and increases wearing comfort.
