Internal heel lining made of Sharkskin
The internal heel lining with a Sharkskin fabric lining helps keep the foot in the proper position, preventing the heel from slipping out of the shoes. This solution increases comfort and stability when riding in challenging terrain. Sharkskin is a high-grip material, which ensures that the foot does not slip inside the shoe.
StickyFoot™ Grip and Dura sole
The midsole features a StickyFoot™ Grip rubber blend that provides excellent grip on the pedals. The forefoot and heel areas utilise a StickyFoot™ Dura blend, which, combined with an aggressive tread pattern, ensures exceptional traction and durability when walking on rough terrain.
Durable upper material

The boots made a very good first impression on me. I mainly ride platforms on a daily basis and I bought these boots with the occasional clipped-in ride in mind. The construction of the front of the shoe is really solid - the stiff toebox feels like it protects the toes well.
On the plus side, the heel counter solution also stands out - a rougher material is used there, which effectively prevents heel slippage and improves foot hold - a great detail and really improves comfort.
This model also gives you the option to ride without blocks - a plug for the mounting hole is included. In theory this allows you to use the shoes on platforms, but in practice I cannot recommend this. The sole is quite hard and has the character of a typical clipper shoe, so it slips on platforms. I tried it and gave up after a few dozen metres - it just didn't feel safe.
