The DWR coating makes the fabric water repellent, so that water forms droplets on its surface and runs off instead of soaking in. This protects the fabric from getting wet quickly, providing greater comfort in wet conditions, but does not guarantee full water repellency.

A robust and UV-resistant fabric developed by the Jack Wolfskin brand. It has a waterproof polyurethane layer underneath. Used for backpacks, bags and travel accessories.
