HDGII
Okuma's HGDII (High Density Gearing II) technology is an advanced gear system made from an extremely strong alloy. The use of a special anti-corrosion coating process makes the gears highly resistant to corrosion. As a result, they are able to withstand the intense loads and harsh conditions of the reel's internal gear system.
Torsion Control Armor
The Torsion Control Armor (TCA) technology used in Okuma's new Inspria spinning reels is based on long strand C-40X carbon fibre technology. This makes the reel lighter and also extremely stiff, reducing twisting and torque, keeping the internal parts in perfect alignment.
C-40X
It uses a specially blended polymer with graphite fibre. The carbon fibres in this material are elongated and reinforced, creating a composite that is much stronger than standard graphite materials.
