    The Salomon Brigade ski helmet represents the pinnacle of achievement in protection and comfort for skiers. It excellently combines technological innovation with functionality, offering skiers optimal head protection during descents.

    EPS 4D is a revolutionary technology developed by Salomon that provides exceptional protection against impacts from various directions. Using specially designed foam, the helmet effectively absorbs energy from both lateral and vertical shocks. Thanks to this, in collision and fall situations, EPS 4D significantly reduces the risk of serious head injuries.

    The shell of the helmet, made by injection molding from ABS material, forms a solid and impact-resistant structure while maintaining a low weight. This advanced shell construction technology ensures the perfect balance between lightness and durability, which is crucial for the skier's comfort and safety.  

    The Salomon Brigade helmet meets CE-EN1077/ASTM F-2040 standards, confirming its compliance with international safety standards in alpine skiing.

    Advantages

    Impact protection
    Skiing is classified as a high-risk sport, which means that the greatest possible protection is required during skiing. The helmet offers impact protection, which increases the user[s safety on the slopes.
    Passive ventilation
    Permanently integrated into the helmet, the ventilation channels let fresh air in through the openings at the front and let excess heat and moisture out through the rear openings. Thanks to this solution, the goggles do not evaporate and the head is kept comfortable during activity.
    EN 1077 certification
    This is a European safety certificate which certifies that the helmet has passed crash and point tests. The first part of the test determines the maximum force that can act on the helmet during a collision, checking absorption through deformation, while the second tests the strength of the shell during point impacts, such as with a ski pole.
    ABS shell
    The shell is made of a synthetic polymer that is highly scratch-resistant and characterised by high hardness and strength. It is also characterised by high resistance to deformation.
    EPS inner shell
    Under the outer, impact-resistant shell, there is an inner layer made of polystyrene. It has a varying density and its main function is to absorb the force of impact during an accident. It provides a good level of safety.
    Adjustment of size by means of a dial
    A classic adjustment system that allows the helmet to be precisely adjusted to the circumference of the head. Using the rotary knob, the helmet can be easily and quickly increased or decreased in several sizes. The correct fit of the helmet increases safety when riding.
    ASTM F2040 certification
    This is an American safety standard, more stringent than the European CE 1077 ECC standard. The test involves dropping the helmet on three types of impact anvils at different speeds. However, point tests and chin strap tests are omitted. A helmet with this certification ensures safety during a crash.
