Too wide

Very nice shoe, but unfortunately not for my narrow foot. The construction of the shoe too wide for me. When twisting the BOA system to the maximum and fastening the Velcro in the upper part of the shoe, the heel and basically the achilles would slide on the heel counter, resulting in chafing. Walking on the flat and especially descending in these shoes is a fairy tale, but on the ascent, I had no joy at all. I usually use Mammut boots, La Sportiva tempted me with the BOA and the "sock". Now I understand all those who claim that Mammut makes narrow boots....
In summary, the boot itself really well made, sensational BOA system, especially if we have crampons or crampons on the boot, we can still adjust the binding, which is difficult with laces. With a temperature of -10 and a medium merino sock, thermal comfort is maintained. If I had to complain about something, when it comes to winter use of the shoe, due to the shape of the heel, crampon selection is troublesome. The best fit in my opinion, due to the design of the rear of the crampons, was the Black Diamond Serac Clip crampons.
Interestingly, based on Anita Lipnicka's assumption that anything can happen, I ordered a spare mounting system together with a cable from boafit.com, which I received completely free of charge :-) I will check out the laced version for myself and, if I can adequately immobilise the heel, I will definitely stock up on aequilibrium.

First day on my feet, heavy winter terrain with collapsing snow, 20 km route, many climbs and sharp descents. No rubbing of the feet, no discomfort, just like in slippers. Highly recommended. And the boa bindings are just like a dream: you can tighten them in photos, release them on straights and climbs, and you can do it all with gloves in a few seconds.
