The CAPiTA Defenders Of Awesome Wide snowboard, with its medium stiffness, makes it a versatile model for riding on the slopes and having fun in the snowpark. Its advanced construction meets the expectations of the most demanding snowboarders. This model has been awarded six times in the Goog Wood test.

Reinforcements made of lightweight carbon strips along the edges of the board increase its power and responsiveness. The board also stands out with the use of MAGIC BEAN™ RESIN and inserts above and below the core made of SPECIAL BLEND FIBERGLASS, which increase the strength and durability of the board. The eco-friendly resin provides the board with good properties without negatively affecting its weight. All of this together makes this model able to withstand the most demanding and wild adventures on the slopes.   

The Defenders Of Awesome Wide model uses the new P2 SUPERLIGHT CORE™ construction, which combines two types of wood: poplar and paulownia. This combination gave us a very strong and energetic core with reduced weight. To increase the durability of this model, FORTRESS™ ARAMID BOUND SIDEWALLS were used, which protect the board from damage. Aramid fibers also provide excellent vibration damping.

Here you will also find full sidewalls made of ABS and high-quality 4 x 2 stainless steel inserts, and the board is finished with a Multitech™ Level 5 DeepSpace™ laminate with a PAM16000™ top layer.
