    Men's Salewa Sella 2L Ptx/Twr membrane trousers black 00-0000028195 (00-0000028195)

    The Salewa Sella 2L Ptx/Twr pants are exceptional trousers designed for ambitious alpinists. The materials used and advanced technologies make these pants perfect for any conditions.

    The pants are made from durable 2-layer Powertex laminate with taped seams and 100% DWR impregnation free from PFC compounds. Their waterproofness and resistance provide maximum protection in harsh winter conditions. Additionally, a lighter version of the laminate enriched with wool fibers was used, which improves the breathability of the pants and freedom of movement. The TirolWool® Responsive insulation utilizes the natural warmth of wool from Tyrolean mountain sheep. Ventilation openings on the thighs allow for quick release of excess heat.  

    Technologies
    DWR
    The DWR coating makes the fabric water repellent, so that water forms droplets on its surface and runs off instead of soaking in. This protects the fabric from getting wet quickly, providing greater comfort in wet conditions, but does not guarantee full water repellency.
    Powertex
    A waterproof membrane that effectively keeps out water and snow, and offers a basic level of breathability, sufficient to ensure comfort for less intense activities.
