Ski helmet Alpina Alto V ink matt (A9238380)

The Alpina Alto V helmet is equipped with an innovative visor that guarantees skiers excellent visibility in all conditions. The unique, multi-directional visor mechanism (TRM) ensures a tight fit of the visor to the face, allowing the helmet to perfectly conform to the head.

The hard shell of the helmet made of Hi-EPS and ABS guarantees maximum protection while maintaining an elegant design. The combination of the surface with the characteristic structure of ventilation holes creates a unique and modern look for the helmet.

Long, soft neck insulation made of micropolar fleece and adjustable ventilation openings ensure an ideal climate inside the helmet. Additionally, thanks to the Ergomatic mechanism, the helmet buckle is easy to operate with one hand and does not open automatically during a fall.

The inner layer of the helmet is made of Lavalan® sheep wool – a natural material that provides not only excellent thermal insulation but also regulates temperature, prevents excessive sweating, and unpleasant odors. The applied Airstream Control mechanism guarantees active ventilation, which can be adjusted and adapted to weather conditions.

The Varioflex technology allows the lens color to automatically adjust to lighting conditions, reacting to visible light within seconds. This makes the lens ideal for various lighting conditions.

Hardshell construction

The construction combines two layers. One In mould layer with a much harder and thicker outer shell layer. These layers are not closely interconnected and the helmet itself is nevertheless characterised by a higher weight thanks to this construction.

Fidlock fastener

The chin strap uses a Fidlock type fastener. This is a simple fastener that operates using magnets. Its operation is quick and easy, even with thick ski gloves. It is both strong and durable.

Active ventilation

The active ventilation system allows the airflow to be individually controlled to suit current needs. Thanks to this solution, excess warm air and moisture will be vented to the outside, without being exposed to excessive cooling.

Hard ear muffs

Hard ear muffs are otherwise known as hard-ear construction, i.e. a built-up design of this area. The shell covering the ears provides additional protection against injury and often offers the possibility of attaching a guard. This type of helmet is recommended for people who ride aggressively and fast and plan to compete in competitions.

EPS inner shell

Under the outer, impact-resistant shell, there is an inner layer made of polystyrene. It has a varying density and its main function is to absorb the force of impact during an accident. It provides a good level of safety.

Integrated viewfinder

The construction with an integrated visor guarantees a well-fitting visor to the shape of the helmet. In addition, the lens has a much larger surface area than that used in goggles, which increases the field of vision and, thanks to the large space between the visor and the face, corrective goggles can be worn without difficulty.

Ergomatic clasp

The chin strap uses an Ergomatic-type fastener, which is highly durable. It allows multi-stage adjustment at the touch of a button and locking of the buckle. Ergomatic can even be operated with ski gloves.

Varioflex

Technology in the lenses that gives them photochromic properties - the lenses darken as the sunlight increases, adapting to the prevailing conditions in seconds. They also provide 100% protection against UVA, UVB and UVC rays.

Hardshell

Special helmet shell moulding technology applied to EPS foam. Guarantees high resistance to external impacts and absorbs shocks.

Fidlock®

Magnetic locking systems, characterised by simplicity of use and durability. Modular technology provides the user with a multitude of fastening options.

Lavalan®

Particularly warm and soft alpine wool insulation that maintains body temperature in the comfort zone. It is a renewable raw material sourced 100% from free-range farming.

Airstream Control
