I’ve run in the Arahi Wide 2E; running in the Bondi 9 feels easier. The Wide 2E version gives you plenty of room for your toes, and the interior is soft, yet it also provides stability.

After years of testing, I’ve found the winner!
I’ve tested shoes from many brands and run in top-of-the-range models from various manufacturers. But the Hoka Bondi 9 WIDE is a discovery that came too late. The EVA foam might not suit everyone, given the differences in the structure of people’s feet, but if you’re confident that your feet are fine, this is the running shoe that makes you want to tackle longer distances!

Lightweight, comfortable shoes but after walking 20km or more they unfortunately caused blisters to appear on the edges of the foot. Seemingly wide but still too narrow for me.

I was looking for a wider shoe for 30km stretches and this one meets my expectations, although it is not very breathable. I compared with the Altra fwd via 2 I Hoki are more comfortable, better made.

Both this model and the Rincon 4 are very soft shoes. My wife runs in the Rincons (she says they run like a cloud), I run in the Bondi, but I will still buy the Cliftons for competition.

Soft and slow
The shoe carries the load of a runner very well but unfortunately at the expense of speed. For training to protect the joints it is OK, but for competitions I am looking for something faster.
