I liked them

I bought these specifically for walking in the mountains. So far, I’ve had some experience walking in them outdoors and I’m generally pleased with them. The anatomical fit plays a big part. The Vibram Megagrip sole really lets you feel the ground and the rocks – it offers good grip.

Generally OK, but...

Extra wide fronts! Ideal for people with wide feet.
I use the shoes for NW walks over longer distances. Even after 100 km I have no chafing on my toes.
Unfortunately, after 300-350 km (total) abrasions appeared on the "behind heels". The part that touches the Achilles tendon is pretty much rubbed off.
It is a pity that a photo cannot be added to the feedback. The description does not reflect the actual damage.
Either I have a strange foot or something is wrong with the shoes. When walking, the heel moves up and down in the shoe. This can be eliminated by lacing tighter, but this is a solution for small distances. Tight laces cause the top of the foot to hurt after 30-50 km.

Comfortable

Shoes very comfortable and durable. I usually wear a size 42.5 needed a 44 in this model.

Great shoes for sightseeing and hiking.

Great shoes, they seem not very 'breathable' on warm days, but the construction without a membrane causes moisture to seep through the material. Some stains then appear on the material itself - a microclimate is created that does not exceed a good level. The leg does not become wet. Excellent cushioning. Great for sightseeing and hiking in the mountains. Not suitable for the Tatras.

Comfortable

Very comfortable shoes. Plenty of toe room and good foot hold. The sole works well off-road, but on a smooth surface like a staircase in a block of flats, they are surprisingly lacking in grip. After a few days of purchase I am very satisfied.
