Vibram® MegaGrip® sole
The profiled Vibram® MegaGrip® sole effectively supports the runner while traversing variable trails. The special tread design maintains stability on both dry and wet paths. During dynamic sprints or steep descents, the foot maintains secure contact with the ground even in challenging terrain.
Foam sole cushioning
The foam cushioning of the sole absorbs the energy generated with each contact of the foot with the surface. The structure of the foam takes on the impact force, limiting its effect on the foot during dynamic movements. During running or jumping, a noticeable reduction in pressure is felt with each step, regardless of the hardness of the ground.
Reinforced heel increasing stability
The reinforced structure at the back of the shoe effectively limits unwanted heel movements during dynamic running. A shoe for the long haul, but for the half distance they will also sit. Cushioning perfect, lightweight and very well made. I love the mafate series and I may not be objective, but everything except the price plays perfectly for me here.

Mega comfortable and well shaped. Considerable amartisation. Wider in the forefoot, and well covering the midfoot and heel. I usually wear 42 2/3, here I stood at 43 1/3.
