Advantages

UV protection 400
The UV 400 filter used in the glazing is guaranteed to protect the eyes from harmful ultraviolet radiation. It blocks 99.9% of wavelengths up to 400 nanometres, both UVA, UVB and UVC. The use of goggles with UV protection is a cornerstone that can prevent serious health problems.
Glazing category S1
An S1-rated windscreen works well when riding on cloudy and foggy days, as well as at night on the slopes with artificial lighting. Absorbing between 20 and 57% of light, they are clear and usually slightly tinted.
Glazing category S2
The lens with the S2 category is the most versatile. It will work well on a slightly cloudy day as well as when the sun is not too strong. It absorbs between 57 and 82% of light and has a slightly darkened surface.
Glass included
Depending on the conditions on the slopes, it is sometimes required to change to a different windshield that is better suited to the lighting parameters. The additional interchangeable windshield included with the goggles gives you more options and allows you to quickly customise the goggles.
Anti-Fog coating
Temperature fluctuations can cause unwanted fogging on the inside of the lens. To prevent this effect from occurring, the lens is treated with a special coating that prevents fogging. This increases safety and comfort when on the slopes.
Anti-fog
An anti-fog coating that is applied, among other things, to the surface of specialised spectacle lenses. The Anti-fog coating retains its properties regardless of weather conditions, even when in contact with water. As a result, it contributes to maintaining undisturbed visual acuity, which increases the comfort and safety of the wearer.
VIVID Lens Shield with Optics by ZEISS®
VIVID Lens Shield with Optics by ZEISS®, used in Giro goggles, is a lens technology that increases contrast and visibility on snow, provides UV protection and improves colour perception. It is prized for improving safety and visual comfort in mountain conditions.
Expansion View (EXV)
Expansion View Technology (EXV) in the goggles increases the field of vision by engineering frameless zones and large, spherical lenses. This ensures maximum peripheral visibility, which is crucial for safety and performance in winter sports.
EVAK Vent
EVAK Vent Technology is an innovative ventilation technology using a new type of foam made of an ultra-absorbent, non-absorbent material. This system minimises the risk of fogging, allowing moisture to escape while creating a protective barrier against the elements. This technology is particularly useful in conditions where maintaining clarity of vision is crucial.
SNAPSHOT Magnetic Lens Interchange System
The Snapshot Magnetic Lens Interchange system uses a shutter release button and locking mechanism to ensure fast, accurate and safe lens changes. Thanks to the magnetic components, the entire process is extremely intuitive and efficient, setting new standards in the industry.
