The 2L membrane used in the Rossignol Insulated model, permanently bonded with the outer fabric and a loose lining, acts as an effective barrier against moisture and snow. The waterproof rating of 20,000 mm and breathability of 20,000 g/m2/24h allow for excess moisture to be released even during strenuous efforts. Taped seams and a DWR hydrophobic finish further protect against saturation.

PrimaLoft® Black Synthetic Insulation

The filling consists of PrimaLoft® Black synthetic insulation, which provides effective thermal protection while maintaining low weight and breathability. This type of filling quickly wicks moisture away from the skin's surface, preventing chilling during rest periods or during activity. The optimal amount of insulation allows for freedom of movement and comfort even during prolonged use in low temperatures.

Recycled Materials and Durability

The trousers are made from recycled polyester and durable polyamide, demonstrating the brand's commitment to the environment and product quality.
