The SCARPA Ribelle HD tonic/tonic men's high-altitude boots are designed for advanced expeditions in demanding mountainous terrain. The modern construction combines the Dynamic Tech Roll system and Scarpa Sock-Fit XT technologies, ensuring precise fit and support during vertical movement and long distances.
Advanced membrane and material technologies
The SCARPA Ribelle HD model uses the waterproof Scarpa HDry® membrane, which effectively protects the interior of the boot from moisture during trekking and climbing. Additionally, the Perwanger® leather in the upper provides high resistance to mechanical damage and adverse weather conditions. The 37.5® technology actively regulates the microclimate inside the boot, supporting efficient moisture wicking during intense exertion.
Sole construction and crampon compatibility
The Vibram® Mont outsole guarantees excellent grip on varied mountain surfaces, significantly enhancing safety and precision with every step. The midsole, made of polyurethane with varied density, optimises cushioning and stability even under heavy loads. Full rand and upper construction

The boots are durable, the sole is stiff, after 13 hours of wading in wet snow and positive temperatures the foot was quite damp but not excessively wet, the ct crampons sit well, you just have to press them firmly with the straps so that the rear cage is not loose and rubbing against the boot, because of the hard sole the boot slips but not excessively

Boots bought a week ago. Immediately 22 km to Rysy from the Slovakian side. I received what I expected i.e. stiff sole and good grip. No problems when ascending and descending. I am a size 42 and I bought a size 44 because I tried on a different model. I think that the size is a bit too small, so I suggest 2 sizes bigger, especially for thicker socks. No chafing, but the distance itself was a pain. I sincerely recommend.
