I tried the Mach 5 and 6 shoes at a local shoe test, or rather the whole family did... and they worked. Fast, dynamic shoes with enough cushioning. Since ordering from here online is significantly cheaper, the Sportano was the clear choice.

Speed without plate
I would highly recommend the Hoka Mach 6. The shoe is tailored for hard-packed runs and shows all its power there. Responsive, very grippy (which is best felt on various curves), lightweight, ideal for faster runs. Certainly not ideal for everyone, they don't provide as much cushioning as the Cliftons or Bondi, but you can definitely go racing in them.

At a price of ~450£ definitely worth a purchase dewlap. I previously had the training Cliftons 9, I chose the same size and they fit. I run with an insole and there is no problem getting them into the shoe either. At 59kg you can do tempo runs. I can honestly recommend!

The perfect training and starting shoe I did 1600 km of slow and fast trails in it and as okay as can be. After so many kilometres, the sole is a little worn out and the upper is 0 damage. Of course, the shoe had already lost its original cushioning, so I had to buy new ones.
