They hold the foot well
The feedback was that they were narrow but the flexible upper gives great comfort and I have a wide forefoot and sometimes I find it difficult to fit these super supposedly comfortable shoes
Tarmac long pats come out very well in these of course you can also do and dynamic workouts

I also took them out on forest trails, "ten at 4:30 pace in the woods, and they worked well too
They don't bite like my inov or saucony but they are not trial shoes
Nevertheless, there is no shame
These are my next shoes in an adventure of several years and we will see how they will be with longer use

They broke the Asics monopoly

You do indeed need to take a tad bigger, just have to repeat on the insole length. I recommend the shoes lightweight and in my opinion much better than the cumulus 25 from Asics. I speak as a fan and user of a large number of nimbus, cumulus AND novablasts. These from the first run have that something. I recommend

4th pair

The 4th pair to probably tick over 800km with me again. Ideal for ultra longs, 50km in a session is not impressive on them

A few months ago I bought the Hoka Mafate Speed 4 trail shoes, which are brilliant, and I was curious about the company's asphalt shoes. After reading a few tests of this model I decided to buy and I am very pleased as they are lightweight and have very good cushioning. If someone, like me, has previously run in another brand of shoe, it is clear that the first impression may be strange but this does not change the fact that they are highly recommendable.

First running shoes

I chose the CLIFTON 9 as my first running shoes and so far I have nothing to complain about. Definitely need to take a bigger size and who has a wider foot, so wide, enough room for the toes, but otherwise it's a pretty narrow shoe.

A really great training shoe, especially for those with a wide foot. Although I personally found the earlier model a better fit, these are also very good.

Soft

A very nice shoe, with plenty of cushioning. Compared to the Novablast 3, certainly a little less dynamic, but comfort at least the same. I am 92 kg in weight and can easily run in these shoes without suffering ;) Cool design in this blue colour, reflective small green inserts.

Good cushioning and comfort so I can also recommend to heavier runners.

I was tempted to buy the Hoki because of the low drop, I was looking for something for asphalt and the choice was the Cliftons. The first Cliftons were visually perfect, but were retired after almost 800 km. So these are my second Cliftons and certainly not the last.

It looks gorgeous. The quality of the materials is superlative and it is VERY comfortable.
They are not THE BEST in terms of breathability, but for running in summer conditions (31/33 degrees Celsius) they are good. Very good boost given by the outsole. Highly recommend!
