The AQUASTIC Touring 11'6" board was designed with people planning longer routes or daily training on calm waters in mind. Its elongated shape better maintains direction and allows achieving higher speeds with less effort. It is well suited for intermediate users and women looking for a lighter and more handy model for touring-style paddling.
DROP STITCH LITE+ Technology – stiffness and durability
The board is made using the modern DROP STITCH LITE+ technology, which combines high stiffness with low weight. Welded internal layers ensure structural solidity, and glued edges guarantee durability and an aesthetic finish. The reduced amount of glue used is also a more ecological solution that does not affect the board’s strength.
Single-layer construction – balance between lightness and durability
The single-layer PVC construction with a density of 2600 g/m² provides the right balance between low weight and mechanical resistance. The board maintains stability even under higher loads without losing maneuverability and light handling. This solution is created for active users who value functionality and mobility.
Optimized dimensions and buoyancy – comfort on the water
The board measures 350 cm in length, 79 cm in width, and 15 cm in thickness, which translates to a buoyancy of 330 liters. EVA foam with kickpad – comfort and precision of movement
The surface of the board is covered with 5 mm thick EVA foam, which provides softness underfoot and excellent grip even when wet. An additional element in the form of a kickpad at the rear allows for better manoeuvring of the board – especially during sharp turns or spins. This practical solution improves control over the board during more dynamic riding.
Flexible cargo system – luggage transport under control
On the bow of the board, cargo bungees have been placed, which are used for securely fastening luggage. You can slide a dry bag, backpack, vest, or other essential equipment under them. The elastic cords ensure stable holding of the transported items, thereby increasing comfort and safety while paddling.
Three carrying handles – convenient transport
The board is equipped with three wide carrying handles – at the bow, in the central part, and at the stern. The middle handle makes it easier to lift and carry the board alone, while the side handles support carrying it as a pair. The front handle is additionally fitted with a D-ring, which allows for mooring or towing the board if necessary.
Detachable slide-in fin
The board features a classic 9-inch fin, mounted using a slide-in system. It provides directional stability and makes manoeuvring easier, especially during longer straight sections. The Aquastic Touring 11’6 is a board that’s a real pleasure to paddle on. It’s stable, comfortable, relatively fast and works well for both a relaxed paddle and slightly longer trips. Two storage compartments, numerous grab handles and a sensible shape are major advantages. We can also use it together without any major issues, with a combined weight of around 120 kg.
Unfortunately, its good performance on the water is severely marred by poor build quality and very inconsistent quality control.
The first board we received had the side edge peeling away in several places. There were visible sections where the material hadn’t been properly bonded, as well as bulges, bubbles and unevenness in the material. Similar bubbles, creases and ripples were also present at the handle attachment points. So this wasn’t a matter of a single minor scratch or cosmetic mark, but rather several issues on the edges and glued joints – areas crucial to the durability of an inflatable SUP board.
The board looked as though it had not undergone a thorough quality control check after production. When purchasing a new product, one should definitely not receive an item with loose bonds, blisters and folds in the material.
After the replacement and once we started using it, durability issues also arose. We’d only used the boards about 6–7 times. We take great care of them: after each use, they’re thoroughly dried, wiped down, cleaned of sand, stored correctly and not left inflated in direct sunlight.
Despite this, the foam pad is starting to peel away from the back, on the thicker section, and in the corners it is completely detached from the surface. After such a short and normal period of use, this shouldn’t be happening.
The durability of the colour coating is also poor. The surface looks as though it has been painted or varnished, and the colour scratches and wears away very easily, down to the white layer underneath. Scratches appear even when simply putting the paddle down or slipping small items under the luggage rack’s elastic straps. The board has not been dragged over stones or treated in any way that would justify such rapid wear and tear.
The included paddle also doesn’t inspire much confidence. The adjustment clip was loose, meaning the handle can slide in on its own whilst paddling. When the second blade is attached, the component falls out easily, and the joints quickly become loose and start to rattle.
The biggest problem with this product is that whilst the board’s design and performance on the water are genuinely good, the build quality does not match its functional qualities. It’s also difficult to assess how the board will look and perform after one or two full seasons, given that after just a few trips the EVA pad is already peeling off, deep scratches are appearing and parts of the paddle are becoming loose.
When collecting the board, I strongly advise you to check every centimetre of it: the side edges, all the glued joints, the areas around the handles, the EVA pad, the coloured surface and the accessories. It’s also worth making sure that the board is brand new, hasn’t been returned previously, and shows no signs of damage or prior use.
On the water, the board is great fun. Unfortunately, the build quality and durability are clearly below the standard I would expect from new equipment costing around a thousand zlotys.

The Aquastic Touring 11’6’ board performs very well on the water. It’s stable, comfortable, quite fast and holds its course well. The two storage compartments are a big plus, as is the generous number of grab handles. We can also paddle on it with two people weighing a combined total of around 120 kg without any problems. In terms of practicality and the paddling experience itself, it’s really hard to find much to complain about.
Unfortunately, the build quality and durability of the materials are much poorer than we expected.
The first unit delivered didn’t look like a brand-new, top-quality product. The EVA pad was scratched and scuffed, and the board showed signs of dirt, rough finishing and traces of glue, particularly on the sides of the bow. The whole thing looked like a display model, a returned item, or one that hadn’t undergone any proper quality control before dispatch.
Unfortunately, further problems arose once we started using it normally. We’ve only used the board about 6–7 times; we don’t overuse it and take great care of it. After every session, it is dried, wiped down and cleaned of sand. We don’t leave it inflated in the sun, we don’t drag it along the ground and we store it properly.
Despite this, the foam padding is starting to peel away from the back, particularly on the thicker section, and its corners are completely detached from the board’s surface.
The durability of the outer colour layer is also very poor. The board looks as though it has been additionally painted or varnished, and the colour rubs off extremely easily. After just a few trips, quite a few scratches appeared, reaching right down to the white layer underneath. These marks appear even from normal activities, such as resting the paddle on the board or tucking items under the luggage straps. This damage is not caused by the board hitting stones or being dragged along the shore.
The problems also affect the included paddle. The adjustment clip was loose, causing the sliding handle to gradually retract inwards whilst paddling. Once the second blade is fitted in the kayaking configuration, the component can fall out very easily. The joints quickly become loose and the whole paddle starts to wobble unpleasantly.
To sum up: on the water, the board is really good. It’s stable, fast, comfortable and functional. Unfortunately, the build quality, quality control, durability of the coating and the longevity of the pad and accessories are very average. After just a few uses, the board wears out much faster than it should.
I strongly recommend that anyone buying this model inspect the product very carefully immediately upon delivery: the edges, the gluing, the pad, the bow, the colour coating, the handles and the condition of the paddle. It’s also worth making sure that the board you receive is genuinely new, hasn’t been returned previously, and shows no signs of having been in storage or used before.
It paddles well, but given the rate of wear and tear, it’s hard to be sure whether it will last for many seasons.
