Very good value for money of the functionality offered. Stiff (I would say more gravelly than MTB), with double precision adjustment in both directions even while riding. My impression is that, being wide, they are also shallow, you feel the pressure of the tongue on the foot when putting them on, but the feeling disappears when riding. The blocks (at least SPD and ATAC) retract deep enough that you don't catch them on the ground when walking.
