Advantages

PC shell

The shell is made of durable polycarbonate. It is a durable and abrasion- and impact-resistant material, characterised by its low weight. It is able to dissipate more impact force than thermoplastic and is relatively cheap to produce, resulting in a more attractive helmet price.

Fidlock fastener

The chin strap uses a Fidlock type fastener. This is a simple fastener that operates using magnets. Its operation is quick and easy, even with thick ski gloves. It is both strong and durable.

Active ventilation

The active ventilation system allows the airflow to be individually controlled to suit current needs. Thanks to this solution, excess warm air and moisture will be vented to the outside, without being exposed to excessive cooling.

EN 1077 certification

This is a European safety certificate which certifies that the helmet has passed crash and point tests. The first part of the test determines the maximum force that can act on the helmet during a collision, checking absorption through deformation, while the second tests the strength of the shell during point impacts, such as with a ski pole.

Soft ear muffs

Soft ear muffs are a different helmet design with ear muffs that are not overlapped by the helmet shell. They are extremely soft and protect the ears from the cold without interfering with sound reception. They do not, however, provide protection against injuries that may occur in the event of an accident.

EPS inner shell

Under the outer, impact-resistant shell, there is an inner layer made of polystyrene. It has a varying density and its main function is to absorb the force of impact during an accident. It provides a good level of safety.

In-mould construction

This construction mainly combines different types of in mould foam of different hardnesses. These layers are closely linked to the outer layer of material, which is much harder. This construction makes the helmet extremely lightweight.

Adjustment of size by means of a dial

A classic adjustment system that allows the helmet to be precisely adjusted to the circumference of the head. Using the rotary knob, the helmet can be easily and quickly increased or decreased in several sizes. The correct fit of the helmet increases safety when riding.

Ergomatic clasp

The chin strap uses an Ergomatic-type fastener, which is highly durable. It allows multi-stage adjustment at the touch of a button and locking of the buckle. Ergomatic can even be operated with ski gloves.

Technologies

INMOLD

The Inmold helmet manufacturing process involves heating the outer polycarbonate layer of the helmet to a high temperature and then bonding it to the inner EPS layer by applying high pressure. The result is a permanent bond between the two layers, creating a helmet that is lightweight and extremely stable.

EDGE PROTECTION

The lower edge of the helmet is reinforced with a polycarbonate plate for increased protection in the event of side impacts. This solution minimises the risk of damage and increases durability and safety in use.

360° RTS Fit System

Thanks to the 360° RTS Fit system, the helmet adapts to the shape of the head in all directions for perfect fit and stability. Precise centring enhances wearing comfort, making the use of the helmet more enjoyable.

MarkAIR Channel System

The advanced MarkAIR Channel ventilation system used in MARKER helmets is one of the state-of-the-art in temperature control. Precise air channels ensure optimum airflow for increased comfort in a variety of conditions.

X-Dry Performance Lining

X-DRY Performance Lining provides optimal thermal insulation, effectively protecting against the cold. At the same time, it wicks away excess heat and moisture, taking care of the wearer's comfort in changing conditions.

Removable Earpads & Audio Ready

The removable ear covers allow them to be easily cleaned in warm water for hygiene and comfort. These elements further insulate thermally, protecting the ears from the cold. The design allows for quick adaptation and compatibility with audio systems.

SoGnar Earpads

The removable SoGnar earcups cover the entire ear, providing warmth without affecting natural acoustics. Thanks to the spacious design, they can even be worn comfortably with in-ear headphones, ensuring greater comfort than other helmets on the market.

Fidlock OG Snap

The OG SNAP closure is an innovative solution with a magnetic sliding mechanism that can be operated with one hand. It provides an exceptionally secure hold in the event of an accident, while allowing quick opening and closing, even with ski gloves. In addition, it prevents accidental cutting of the skin during use.

AIR JAM CLIMATE CONTROL

AIR JAM CLIMATE CONTROL allows you to regulate airflow thanks to the waterproof, foldable inner lining. The closed vents create a warm and dry air cushion, protecting the head from chilling on cold days. On warmer days, the system allows the ventilation to open up, maximising airflow within the MarkAIR Channel Ventilation system.
