My first barefoot shoes, very comfortable and lightweight. I was a bit afraid that there would be a problem with switching to this type of footwear, but I often walk barefoot on natural surfaces and I haven't noticed any undesirable symptoms (in general, feet should be accustomed to this type of footwear gradually - from regular shoes, foot muscles are weakened and a sudden switch to barefoot can cause overload injuries due to completely different mechanics of foot and ankle movement). I have been trying on the Xero Prio for over 2 years and regret that I have only now made the purchase. I have multi-level spinal disc disease and the discomfort has reduced significantly within a week (as well as after regular barefoot walking). In terms of sizing - if you have a slim foot then you can risk half a size down: NB I have 42.5 Adidas 42 2/3 and Xero 42 fit perfectly even with a thicker sock.
If you want to buy your first barefoot shoes, the Xero Prio is the perfect choice to start such an adventure. Just be warned - later on you will only recognise such shoes, because you will simply be uncomfortable in others. Personally, I'm slowly starting to look for an Xero version for winter :)
