RECCO®
A patented safety system for avalanche emergencies. The technology involves placing a transmitter inside clothing or footwear that is compatible with the detector used by rescuers.
MIPS®
Multidirectional Impact Protection System - A common impact protection system used in helmets. Its purpose is to protect against the rotational movement that occurs during a severe impact. MIPS absorbs the first shock, minimising the risk of brain damage.
360° PURE SOUND
SCOTT brand helmets use the 360° Pure Sound solution, which is based on specially designed earcups made of sound-permeable material. This enables the wearer to hear their surroundings better and locate sound sources more precisely, increasing safety on the slopes.
Smart Textile Padding
Smart Textile Padding is an innovative material used in SCOTT helmets that takes care of maintaining the right temperature of the head during exercise. It effectively wicks away perspiration and water vapour, ensuring a pleasantly cool feeling and wearing comfort.
RadosławExcellent
A lightweight helmet like no other (you almost can't feel it on your head), the fit with the googles react sensational. Worth the price and definitely something to try on for comparison if you are looking for something a little higher end. The helmet is DELICIOUSLY insulated, also a thermal cap is obligatory underneath :)
