Memory Foam System
MFS is a foam compound from the Meindl brand that is used as a finishing touch to the boot's upper (within the ankle). The foam in the base of the shoe responds to body heat and adapts to the wearer's foot, while in the cuff it stabilises the leg during walking.

Shoes bought in 2009, still used today! and will probably be used for a few more years. Upper indestructible, sole also, very comfortable, hold the foot well, tested in various weather and terrain conditions, even in water. Very good thermal and moisture comfort.
