    The Salomon Osmo Pro Sigma Photo helmet features In-Mold construction with a durable polycarbonate shell and an EPS foam layer that absorbs impact forces. The EPS 4D technology effectively dissipates kinetic energy generated during falls, enhancing head protection. The product meets stringent CE-EN1077 and ASTM F2040 safety standards, confirming its high effectiveness in demanding winter sports conditions.

    SIGMA photochromic visor and wide field of vision

    The integrated SIGMA Photo visor utilises photochromic technology, automatically adjusting the tint level across three filter categories depending on light intensity. This provides the user with optimal contrast and excellent visibility on both sunny and cloudy days. The OTG construction facilitates the use of prescription glasses, while the active ventilation prevents fogging and enhances visibility comfort even during intense activity.

    Advantages

    Active ventilation
    The active ventilation system allows the airflow to be individually controlled to suit current needs. Thanks to this solution, excess warm air and moisture will be vented to the outside, without being exposed to excessive cooling.
    Ergonomic design
    The ergonomic shape ensures a high level of comfort when skiing. This helmet design allows undisturbed airflow, which also improves ventilation inside the shell.
    EN 1077 certification
    This is a European safety certificate which certifies that the helmet has passed crash and point tests. The first part of the test determines the maximum force that can act on the helmet during a collision, checking absorption through deformation, while the second tests the strength of the shell during point impacts, such as with a ski pole.
    Buckle fastening
    The chin strap uses a classic buckle fastening. It is easy to use, but fastening and unfastening it can be problematic with winter gloves. It will work well with helmets designed for slightly older children.
    Soft ear muffs
    Soft ear muffs are a different helmet design with ear muffs that are not overlapped by the helmet shell. They are extremely soft and protect the ears from the cold without interfering with sound reception. They do not, however, provide protection against injuries that may occur in the event of an accident.
    Integrated viewfinder
    The construction with an integrated visor guarantees a well-fitting visor to the shape of the helmet.     In-mould construction
    This construction mainly combines different types of in mould foam of different hardnesses. These layers are closely linked to the outer layer of material, which is much harder. This construction makes the helmet extremely lightweight.
    Adjustment of size by means of a dial
    A classic adjustment system that allows the helmet to be precisely adjusted to the circumference of the head. Using the rotary knob, the helmet can be easily and quickly increased or decreased in several sizes. The correct fit of the helmet increases safety when riding.
    ASTM F2040 certification
    This is an American safety standard, more stringent than the European CE 1077 ECC standard. The test involves dropping the helmet on three types of impact anvils at different speeds. However, point tests and chin strap tests are omitted. A helmet with this certification ensures safety during a crash.
