This protects sensitive areas from moisture penetration, increasing the waterproofness of the garment. This method provides a balance between water protection and breathability of the fabric.

The Horseshoe Hem™ is a reinforced, high weight panel (500D) located at the bottom of the legs of the 686 snowboard trousers. It protects the cuffs from damage that can occur from the edge of the snowboard and other external factors, extending the life of the garment.

The infiDRY fabric, developed exclusively by 686, combines specially designed fabrics with multi-level protection against the elements. It is both waterproof and breathable fabric, providing an effective barrier against a variety of weather conditions.
