Advanced membrane and taped seams

The two-layer 2L membrane found in the Rossignol Wispile model is permanently integrated with the outer fabric and additionally complemented by a loose lining for increased comfort. With membrane parameters of 20,000 mm and taped seams, the jacket effectively blocks moisture even during heavy snowfall. The use of DWR technology enhances the water-repellent properties of the outer material, facilitating water runoff and improving protection against saturation.

Synthetic insulation PrimaLoft® ThermoPlume®

The jacket is filled with synthetic insulation PrimaLoft® Black and advanced PrimaLoft® ThermoPlume® insulation, ensuring high thermal insulation while maintaining low weight and excellent compressibility. Such solutions allow the jacket to retain heat effectively even during dynamic activities in low temperatures. The use of synthetic materials also facilitates quick moisture wicking and provides effective protection against overheating during intense exertion.

Flexibility, construction, and functionality

Elastane and four-way stretch fabric used in the Rossignol Wispile model provide complete freedom of movement while skiing and engaging in other winter activities. The jacket features adjustable waist, snow skirt, underarm ventilation, and inner cuffs with thumbholes, enhancing ergonomics and user comfort. The helmet-compatible hood, chin guard, and numerous pockets increase functionality, while the use of recycled materials and the absence of harmful PFC compounds emphasise the product's eco-friendly character.
